For all those who were wondering about the wedding dates, well... wonder no further. The wedding dates of the much-awaited grand function are July 12, 13 and 14.
The wedding festivities will be spanned over three days. While there will be the traditional 'Shubh Vivah' which will take place on July 12, there will be the customary function of 'Shubh Aashirwad' that will happen on July 13. And, on July 14, it will be the customary 'Mangal Utsav'!
All the roads will lead to just one place in Mumbai. And that is Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai's plush Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC). And this is exactly the venue which has been chosen for the super grand wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant.
While the first pre-wedding celebration was held in Jamnagar in Ahmedabad, the second pre wedding function was held in a Mediterranean cruise! Needless to say, both these pre wedding functions were attended by many who’s who!
During the first pre wedding function, it was the global sensation Rihanna who set the stage afire with her performance. And for the second pre wedding function, it was the global superstar band Backstreet Boys who had performed!
Besides B’wood bigwigs like Bachchans, SRK, Salman Khan, Deepika Padukone, there will be international personalities like Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, John Kerry, Carl Bildt, former UK PMs Tony Blair and Boris Johnson, Stephen Harper and others!
The wedding invitation of the grand event also included a nine-page dress code! Reports state that guests have been requested to dress in formal Indian attire… being un tune with the mood and ambience of the occasion.
Unconfirmed reports state that, besides the variety of food across the globe, there will be Varanasi's famous Kaashi Chaat Bhandaar have been hired to serve its famous delicacies to the guests, including palak chaat, dahi puri and others.
Considering the grand scale on which the wedding is expected to take place, security will be absolutely world class and on-point with a sharp eye on the proceedings in order to avoid any issues and also to ensure the safety of the guests.
